Rob Seward: The CONSCIOUSNESS FIELD RESONATOR
The CFR is a device based on ESP research performed at Princeton University. It is designed so the owner can have a personal experience of the psychic forces that Princeton claims to exist. The CFR responds changes in “consciousness fields.” Disturbances in these fields are detectable when many people have their mind on the same subject. Events such as Princess Diana’s Funeral and 9/11 have created measurable effects in Princeton’s equipment - similar events should produce a dramatic response in the CFR. This project is my attempt to create an object that engenders a highly emotional relationship with its owner - Link.

Art Buggy Derby in Philly

The Art Buggy Derby will be held on Sunday, October 15th in Washington Square Park in Philly. It is both an intense race of speed and a fierce competition of ingenuity. It’s about building the fastest buggy that will cruise across the finish line first. But it’s also about building a buggy that creates art during the journey of the race. Art that will wow the judges after the smoke settles. This is the riddle of the Art Buggy Derby - a buggy can cross the finish line second and still win the race on account of the art it created during the race. Link.
